Anxiety became rhythm. Rhythm became ritual. Ritual became infrastructure. THERAPY FOR THE SIGNAL is the latest transmission from RΞCΛNT and appears to document the early stages of what ECHO//SHIFT attendees have begun referring to as “alignment events” — episodes of emotional synchronization, compulsive movement, recurring dreams, and shared auditory phenomena linked to repeated signal exposure. While representatives for ECHO//SHIFT deny any dangerous memetic properties associated with the performance, several listeners have reported: — hearing low-frequency choir bleed in silent rooms — synchronized dreams involving unidentified city structures — emotional attachment to unknown voices — involuntary humming during moments of stress — the sensation that “the music already knew them”
