**Bárðarbunga** is a song about everything we bury inside ourselves until the pressure becomes impossible to contain. Inspired by the Icelandic volcano hidden beneath the Vatnajökull glacier, the song uses fire beneath ice as a metaphor for years of suppressed emotions, silent struggles, sacrifice, and lost identity. It tells the story of someone who spent years carrying the weight of others, hiding their own pain, and mistaking endurance for healing. From the outside, everything appeared calm. Beneath the surface, something was building. The eruption is not about revenge or destruction. It is about liberation, reclaiming yourself, and finally allowing everything you have kept buried to break through. **Bárðarbunga is about the difference between being silent and being defeated. The fire never went out.**
